Cincinnati Pride celebrates its 46th year

With a history that dates back to 1973 when a group of LGBTQ men and women gathered on Fountain Square to march for gay rights, Cincinnati Pride was joyously held this past weekend in the Queen City.

Thousands of spectators lined 7th Street on Saturday, June 22 to watch the start of the parade, which featured individuals, organizations, and businesses marching together 50 years after the Stonewall Riots. The sizable crowd then assembled in Sawyer Point Park for the Pride Festival that featured an all-star headliner line-up of country artist Ty Herndon, drag (and Broadway!) superstar Peppermint, recording artist Kiara, the ubiquitous Nina West, and all-around sensation Todrick Hall, all alongside local drag, entertainment, and musical artists.

Prizm was in the center of all the action capturing these images of the Queen City bonded together with Pride.
